How nice is to begin a new season? to be back in the water, enjoying the leaks of my old wader, stalking some trout, casting at them, hooking a couple, missing some others. How nice is to float again, chasing trout in the shallow water that leisurely cruise in search of food, unhurried. I still remember some of my last days out fishing from last season; I wasn’t even casting yet when some of these fish were already running away from me, like if someone had thrown a stone at them. Now they behave differently, they allow us to spot them with ease, inspecting each fly that hits the water.
We wanted to open the present season trying to catch some rainbows, as we commented on our latest post, it is the right time for this. Here are some of the pictures of the first fish of the season; the rest of the rainbow route trip pictures are coming soon.
