Spring is here; longer days, better weather and of course Rainbows. There could not be a better time of the year to catch large Rainbows than the first months of the season. Fish are coming out of their spawning trance and beginning to feed again.
They need to regain weight and energy fast, so they take nymphs eagerly. In addition to this, we can still find them concentrated in shallow waters. Yeah, the fish are actually cooperating.
2009-2010 season begins this Friday and SouthAnglers will go out in search of some magic Rainbow time.
