We are just a month away from the opening of the season in Coyhaique and some of the nearby mountain lakes are still partially covered with ice. As the warmer days get more frequent, fish are increasingly becoming more active. In bright day conditions it is possible to see some cruising browns leisurely sipping midges, no mayor insect hatches have been observed by me so far.
